Mel Hohn is an illustrator based in Edmonton, Canada, who has a passion for nature. When she's not at her desk, she can be found in a nearby forest hunting for mushrooms. During the cold months, she bides her time by working towards a degree in Biological Sciences and dreams of warm sunshine and soft moss.

Mel currently serves as the vice president of the Alberta Mycological Society, and hosts various meet-ups and forages in the city. Curious about mycology? It's Mel's favorite thing to talk about!
